The play is an amusing adaptation of the original Norwegian tale of the Three Billy Goats Gruff.
It's summer and the Billy Goats want to cross the bridge to enjoy an ice-cream at the water park. The only problem is a family of nasty trolls live under the bridge and gobble up anyone who dares to cross. Fortunately, the Little Billy Goat has a great idea. Maybe, the trolls will get a taste of their own medicine...
The play is suitable for performance by children in Reception and Year 1. The run-time for the performance is about six minutes. The script includes music recommendations and a song idea (music CDs or music rights NOT included), suggestions for costumes and set arrangement and a list of required props.
There is a variety of roles to suit children of different abilities. There is a total of 12 characters; one role is recommended for acting by a girl, two roles are recommended for performance by boys. The total number of characters could be increased to 14.
