Fun science play script for kids
Spring is a superb time of year to study nature and learn about science. This play explores the changes that happen in nature during spring in a fun manner combined with scientific information. The play allows some pupils to act as fairy folk, whilst others can choose from a wide variety of roles: including that of Science Professors.
There is a wide variety of roles for pupils of different ability levels and a role on stage for the class teacher, in order to assist with narration and the direction of pupils on stage if need be. The play contains notes for direction as well as details concerning the props required. There are several suggested small songs for performance during the play.

DAFFODILS (Altogether.): It's still too cold!
BLUEBELL: Please.
DAFFODIL 1: My roots are frozen!

(Enter THE SUN strutting happily.)
ALL SPRING FAIRIES (Singing.):
The sun has got his hat on, hip-hip-hip-hooray
