NARRATOR 2: All the doors I tried were locked. A growing sense of desperation began to seize me. Finally, one door on top of a stairway gave under pressure and I entered a different wing of the castle.
(Jonathan explores behind screen and emerges.)
NARRATOR 1: From the end room windows I saw that the castle was constructed on a great precipice. The castle was a veritable prison and I was its prisoner.
...
NARRATOR 2: Quaint little specks of dust danced hypnotically in the moonlight and then formed wanton female shapes before my very eyes. I was paralysed with fear. They approached casting no shadow.

JONATHAN: HELP! They're pensioners! Someone save me!
PENSIONER VAMPIRE 1: (Leans over Jonathan and abruptly stands up.) Silly me! I've forgotten my fangs in a glass in the bathroom. I'd forget my own head if it wasn't stapled on.
PENSIONER VAMPIRE 2: Oh, goodie it's my turn then. You go and put the kettle on.
(Enter DRACULA in rage.) ...
