It's springtime and the farmyard is filled with baby animals. They are all terribly confused as to what type of animals they are. The sheepdog puts the confused baby animals through a series of tests in order to determine what type of animal they are.
Easy to stage, simple and amusing play script. The language and roles of this play have been specially written for emergent readers. The play does not require any changes of props.
All roles could be performed by any gender. Baby animal roles could be played by very small children. The narrations could be done by teachers or older children. The play can be performed with a minimum of 13 children alternatively, extra casting is possible by increasing the number of baby animals.
